The largest dragon known to have lived in Westeros, and the last dragon born in Old Valyria before the Doom. Brought west by House Targaryen when they fled to Dragonstone a dozen years before the Freehold fell, he was ridden by Aegon the Conqueror during the Conquest — his flames forged the Iron Throne itself. He later carried Maegor the Cruel through the Faith Militant Uprising, and in his final years was mount to Viserys I. He died of old age in 94 AC.
